My husband and I knew Gert from Matulaitis Nursing Home where my mother, Celina Stafford lives. She was the sweetest, gentlest woman who always had a smile. When I read her obituary, I was surprised to hear that her maiden name was Olszta. I grew up on George Street in Dudley and knew Frank and Mitchell Olszta very well. I wish I had known this prior to her passing, as I would have talked to her about it.
Rest in peace, Gert. You are already missed.
