Aunt Helen lives forever in our hearts, along with Uncle Ted. Our family lived in the same duplex as their family in Uxbridge when we were growing up. I cherish those times we played with our cousins and had the experience of helping in our grandparents huge vegetable garden across the street. I was lucky enough to stay with Aunt Helen for a few days last summer right after Uncle Ted passed and saw first hand her quiet strength. I noted that she walked around her house with socks but no shoes -- which is one reason why she had such good balance at the age of 94. I'd call them now and then and was ready to do so when I heard she passed... reminder to follow my instincts.
