There was only one Bubbles in this world and she was a very special lady! No one could decorate for every single Holiday like Bubbles did! Not a square inch of the house had a bare space because she wanted to delight every child that entered! She babysat so many kids over her life including my two and we all had a special place in our heart for her. Her and Russell were the best neighbors and friends to have right next door.
My deepest sympathy to the family. This has been a difficult time for you. I am sure everyone will have many stories filled with laughs and love over the next few days. Cherish all of the them and recall them when you are feeling sad. Happy Memories will keep her close to heart at all times.

Bubbles, where to begin. We were not legally related but you were family to me in every way. You always took time for everyone. You always watched out for me and my mother, always checking in. It seems like whenever o saw you, you had something for someone even if it was little. Your thoughtfulness and love is something I will always remember and cherish I will also remember the teasing, and giggles along with the screaming and yelling when someone showed you a frog. Great memories of a great woman that will be missed by so many as she reached out and touched so many.

To all of Barbara's family,
So very sorry for this great loss to so many of her family and friends. I know she will be so missed by so many people. Dominic she will be cheering you on from above. I know how she loved going to your games. Karen even if you lived so far away and was not able to be closer in distance to Bubbles she loved you dearly and spoke of you at every baseball game we attended. God bless you and I feel so badly for you. I know she told you that we lost Rhea in December 2017 and the hurt doesn't let up. Both Ruth and myself bring her up in every conversation we have. My heart goes out to you. How I wish we could go back to being neighbors and friends growing up on Valley St. Take care all of you knowing how much she loved all of you and that she is now in a much place.

I do not know why we called you "Aunt Bubbles" and I never questioned it. You were direct, in the know, caring, loving, want to be with family, about family, not ever not included with family, fiercely supportive of family and most definitely fiercely defensive of family. You were and will always be an icon of what FAMILY is. In your own loving way you kicked the concept of "out-law" to the curb and lovingly embraced the term "In-Law" with the same love and compassion you would bestow on every blood related family member. My first memories in the Davis family prior to becoming a Davis have you in them right in the fore front. Lovingly excepting but seriously bestowing the duties of "family responsibility"
what that meant and for sure WHAT THE EXPECTATIONS were. Art and I love you Aunt Bubbles and we will lovingly carry the memory of your spirt with us always. Love, Art and Sandy Davis
