I remember Kayla from her time at the Grow School in Dudley. She was a wonderfully-bright young woman with an amazingly-positive spirit. I am sad to hear she is gone. She made the world a happier place.

I only just heard you are gone. We fell out of touch but I always thought of reaching out. We became friends in a very random way one night and got very close fast that summer. I really appreciated how quickly we took to each other and getting to be friendly with your family during that time. I'll keep you all in mind in my prayers and thoughts. Rest easy Kayla. You were a good soul and I appreciated getting to know you. Thank you.

Dear Kevin and Lynda. .
Please accept our deepest sympathies at the time of your tragic loss. Everyone in your families received us warmly in the years we spent together, and you all always remain in our thoughts and hearts. There is no greater loss than the loss of a child and we can only imagine your pain. As you know Kayla would sometimes call me to talk about her feelings and how she was doing, and I always tried to understand and be supportive.
Our mutual friend the Honorable Gerald Lemire just broke the news to us and he too offers his deepest condolences.

Kels, Mom, Dad and the rest of the family I am so incredibly sorry for this unimaginable loss! Kay was always the first to help anyone. She was so protective over her loved ones! I can remember she walked up all the way up to the school and took my straightener back from someone who stole it. I remember growing up with you guys, all the cape trips, being silly. I love you all so much and you are in my thoughts! Fly high Kid! Love you Kay!
