Deborah S Blake, 60, of Danielson, CT died suddenly Friday, July 30, 2021 at Day Kimball Hospital of Putnam, CT from complications of ALS after a short battle with the illness. Deborah was born June 9, 1961 in Worcester, MA. She is the daughter of the late Robert G and the late Audrey (Olson) Jason. Predeceased by her husband of 28 year's Daniel Paul Blake. She is survived by one daughter: Stephanie Blake of Hope , RI and two sons: Shawn Blake and his wife Stacey of Danielson, CT and Scott Blake and his wife Amy of Warwick, RI, three sisters: Barbara Kieschnick of TX, Carol Catino of Webster and Tammy Roy of East Longmeadow, and one brother: Bob Jason of MI; She also has five beloved grandchildren, Haley, Tyler, Daniel, Ethan & Wyatt Predeceased by her sister, Linda Bennett. Deborah worked many years at N&J Donuts in Oxford starting at the age of 16, full and part-t time and she loved her customers. Later she was data entry clerk for the Worcester T&G ,Phlebotomist, and Day Kimball Homemaker. She enjoyed going out, the ocean, traveling, Holidays, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She adored her family and grandchildren. Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 4 from 4 to 6 PM at Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Avenue, Dudley, MA. After cremation burial will be at the convenience of the family. in lieu of flowers donations to Healey ALS Platform Trial of Mass General Hospital are appreciated.
