Obituary of Sean M Peek

Sean M Peek, age 48, of Dudley died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 after being stricken ill while driving his truck on Old Southbridge Rd. in Dudley. A loving husband, and devoted father, he is survived by his wife of 11 years Emily (Paquin) Peek, their 7 year old daughter, Clara, and their 19 month old son, Cody, his mother, Linda (Card) Yacuzzi and her husband, Thomas Yacuzzi, all of Dudley, his father, Gerald Peek and his wife, Christine Brandt of Weston and his sister, Heidi Peek and her husband, Billy Hamby of Apache Junction, AZ. He is also survived by cousins Vincent LaFontan and his wife, Maria of Kent, CT, Lyle Lafontan and his wife, Elaine of Gaylordsville, CT and Rebecca DaSilva and her husband, Daniel of South Kent, CT. He also leaves behind his best friend, Jeffery Garrepy and his wife Stacy of Charlton. Sean was a jack of all trades, and could do anything with his hands. He was a proud Brother of the Local 336 Carpenters Union for the last 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting with his best friend Jeff. One of his favorite things to do was take his daughter,Clara, trout fishing. Sean and Emily shared a love of walking in the woods together as they were dating, and continued to share that love with their children. Sean was born in Worcester and grew up in Charlton, MA and attended Bay Path Vocational High School and specialized in cabinetry. Sean lived 5 years in Kent, CT and Amenia NY where he owned his own carpentry business. Sean moved back to Dudley in 2001 where he bought his home and lived there for 20 years, 15 of which were with his wife Emily. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 4 at 10:00 am at the First Congregational Church Of Dudley, 135 Center Rd., Dudley, MA with the Rev. John White officiating.
