Obituary of Brianna E Garrity
Please share a memory of Brianna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Brianna Elizabeth Garrity, 17 years old, of Enfield, Connecticut unexpectedly passed away at home on August 19, 2021.
Brianna's kindness, empathy and generosity were evident to all who knew her. Funny and pretty, she was easy to talk with and had a contagious laugh. A natural athlete, she excelled at gymnastics, karate, soccer and softball, and loved to drive ATV's and scooters.
Brianna had a sunny disposition and a willingness to try new things. She loved playing with her pug Lily and was especially thrilled to have a new little sibling in her life, her one-and-a-half-year-old sister Alaia. As a single child, Bri had often asked her mother for a brother or sister. When Alaia joined the family, Brianna got to be the very good big sister that she had always wanted to be, and loved feeding her, playing with her, and holding her as she fell asleep. Bri always liked to make people feel better and was a spark of sunshine in many lives. She appreciated even the smallest kindnesses and was always so thoughtful of others.
Brianna leaves behind her family, including her mother, Jodi David, her sister Alaia David, both of Enfield, and father, Shawn Garrity, of Richmond, Virginia. She also leaves behind her great-grandparents George and Janet Caouette of Wildwood, Florida, and Joseph (predeceased) and Marian Garrity of Media, Pennsylvania, grandparents Karen David of Grafton, Massachusetts, and Richard David, of Dudley, Massachusetts, and Steven Garrity and Maria Bull of Orange, Massachusetts. She is predeceased by her grandmother Mary Elizabeth Cannon of Chester, Virginia. Brianna also leaves her uncle Eric David, of Grafton, Massachusetts, and her aunts, Jessica Garrity and Laura Garrity, both of Orange, Massachusetts, and cousin Lily Killay, also of Orange.Great uncles Norman Brian Caouette of Enfield Ct., Gary Caouette of Goosecreek SC.
