Obituary of Kathleen Rozenas

SANFORD, ME- On February 14, 2022, Kathleen Chase Rozenas, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born December 3, 1942, in Millbury, MA, the daughter of Levi Chase and Mabel (Hall) Chase. Kathleen was a long-time resident of Dudley, MA and was predeceased by her husband, Adolph (Ray) Rozenas. Kathleen graduated from Millbury High School in 1960. She held many jobs throughout her life, including working on the family farm in Dudley, as well as working at the AO in Southbridge, the Masonic Home in Charlton, and Park N' Shop in Dudley. She was a cherished homemaker and took care of her grandchildren after school. She was so incredibly proud of her family and provided nothing but love and support for them. Kathleen leaves behind her two children, William Rozenas, his wife Karen of Dudley, and Heidie Gwilt, her husband Scott of Sanford, ME. Four grandchildren, Katelyn Rozenas-Hanson, her husband Matthew, of Dudley, Kyle Rozenas, his wife Allison, of Dudley, Courtney Gwilt, her boyfriend Alex Hanson from Newnan, GA. And Cayla Gwilt of Sanford, ME. She also leaves behind a great-grandchild, Antonella Rozenas. Services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, February 19 at Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Ave, Dudley. Calling hours will be held before the service from 9:00am to 11:00am. Interment will follow at Waldron Cemetery in Dudley.
