William P. Adamuska, Sr. 97, of Dudley died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Mr. Adamuska was born June 24, 1924 in Willsonville, CT. He is the son of the late Andrew and the late Sophie (Vajcovec) Adamuska. He is survived by four sons: Stacy Adamuska and his wife Leah of Dudley, Kenneth Adamuska and his wife Kathleen of Dudley, William P. Adamuska Jr. of Worcester and James Adamuska of Southbridge, four daughters: Sandra Adamuska of Webster, Sally and her husband James Belsito of FL, Ruth Lavoie of Worcester, and Carol and her husband Don Piehl of FL. He also has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his wife Mary (Christoff) Adamuska and a daughter Susan Adamuska as well as 5 brothers John, Martin, Andrew, Frank, and Stephen and 2 sisters Ann and Mary. An Army veteran of WWII, William received a Purple Heart and Silver Star for his service to his country. He was a lifelong Heavy Equipment operator before retiring in 1989. He loved gardening and was the family Mr. Fix It . He had delivered meals on wheels for many and has spent the last 18 months at Christopher Heights in Webster The funeral service will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, March 26 at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley. Burial with military honors provided by the Webster-Dudley Honor Guard will follow in Sacred Heart Of Jesus Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 9-10:30 at the funeral home.
