Dudley - Edward J. Kolodziejczak, 77, of 418 Dresser Hill Rd., died September 8 at his home after a long illness. His wife of 54 years, Theresa (Raymond) Kolodziejczak died in 2005.
He leaves two daughters Diane Note and Cheryl Brassard both of Dudley. Three sons: James Kolodziejczak of Webster,Mark Kolodziejczak of Southbidge and John Note of Thompson, CT
A sister: Helen Russell of Leicester, 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
He was born in Southbridge the son of Francis S. and Maryanna (Domagala) Kolodziejczak. Ed has lived in Dudley for 73 years . He served in the Army during the Korean War . He worked as a Machinist .at Pratt-Whitney Aircraft Engine Plant in Hartford .
Ed was a member St. Stephens Church and a former member of the Quinebaug Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years. Ed and Theresa enjoyed camping and treasured their trips to the Cape Cod Canal .
His funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday September 11 at 10 AM in St. Stephens Church, Corner Of Route 197 & 131, Quinebaug Ct. After cremation burial will be private . Calling hours will be held on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave. RT 12 Dudley.
