Webster - Ernest J. Pelletier, 88, of 9 Hickory Lane, died Monday, September 24 in Webster Manor after an illness.
He leaves one sister with whom he made his home for 86 years Grace Pelletier .
Three brothers: Gerald Pelletier and his wife Prudence of Southbridge ,Emil Pelletier of Webster, Leon Pelletier and his wife Margarita of Southbridge and a brother-in law Lionel Ayotte of Webster. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers, Herve and Alfred Pelletier and sisters, Yvonne Ayotte and Sr. Anita Pelletier S.S.A
He was born in Webster the son of Alexandre and Gracia (Guilmette) Pelletier and lived here all his life. He served in the Army from 12/31/42 to 10/25/45. He worked the parts crib at the Writeline Company for 23 years retiring at age 61. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of American Legion Post 184 in Webster.
His funeral will be held FRIDAY SEPT. 28 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a Mass at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St., Webster. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours at the funeral home are on Thursday SEPT. 27 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The Webster- Dudley Veterans Council will provide military honors. www.bartelfuneralhome.com
