Obituary of Lori McDonald

Lori McDonald, age 63, of Thompson, CT. died peacefully at her home with her family at her side after a long courageous battle with cancer. Lori was born in Webster, on April 13th, 1960, and passed on her birth date in 2023. She is the daughter of the late Arthur and Claire (Bellanceau) Pizzotti. Lori is survived by her husband, Mark McDonald, her two daughters and their husbands, Tara & Dave Davidson and Amanda & Justin Wood, two step sons, Mark and Nicholas McDonald, her sister, Sharlene and her husband Dave Stefanik, six grandchildren, Kyle, Tori, Hank, Liam, Brooke and Ivan, and a nephew and niece, Thomas and Diane. Lori worked as a secretary for many years before her illness. Lori worked at Jeffco Fibers for 6 years, 9 years at Woodstock Line and 15 years at Stevens Linen. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, camping, playing games on her tablet and her fish tank. Lori also liked to hang out with her dear friends camping and cooking but most of all she treasured time spent with her family. A memorial service will be held Friday April 21, 2023 at 1 pm at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA calling hours are Friday morning from 10 AM to 1 PM .
