Obituary of Pearl M. Benoit

Pearl M. (Ponto) Benoit, 94, of Dudley died peacefully with family at her side on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Webster Manor. Pearl was born November 18, 1928 in Webster, MA. She is the daughter of the late William F.Ponto and the late Amelia (Dykas)Tlusty She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred C Benoit in 2002. She is survived by her daughter Maria Mailloux and her husband Kenneth of Dudley, one son: Robert Benoit of Worcester, Two sisters: Cynthia Rosso of Springfield, Gloria Proulx of Springfield, one brother, Albert Tlusty of Feeding Hills, and Daughter In Law, Jane Benoit of Worcester. A grandmother to Kristie Laabs and her husband Steven of Dudley, Corey Mailloux; of Dudley John Benoit his wife Nikki of Worcester, Thomas Benoit of Worcester. Great Grand Children, Emily Manski; Rylee Mailloux, Jillian Laabs, Connor Laabs; and Gabrielle Benoit. Many nieces and nephews, She lived in Dudley all her life a communicant of St. Andrew Bobola Church. Worked at Webster Lens for 40 years retiring at age 62 She enjoyed her time at Joshua place 2002-2013. She loved to read, do search a word books, and play Bingo. Also a devoted Red Sox Fan but most of all she treasured time with her family. Family would like to thank the staff at Webster Manor and Hospice of Western and Central Mass. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 27 at St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St., Dudley. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA.
