Muriel was an exceptional teacher, woman and friend. I was devastated to learn of her passing, and am praying for her journey to God and also to the family she left behind. I only wish I had learned of her passing earlier as I would have gone to the service. I will always hold a special place in my heart for this kind and beautiful soul. Fly with the angels, dear Muriel, and may you rest in peace. I love you, my friend.

I am a former student from St Anne s . One day I found a beautiful Siamese kitten, so I put her in my school bag to take her home after school, the kitten crawled out during class, meowing, Ms Pontbriant fell in love with this kitty, she was so happy , I told her my mother probably would not let me keep her. Muriel had her for 18 years! Everytime I would see Muriel, she would tell me how much she loved her! God bless you Muriel, you are an Earth Angel.

I was saddened by the news of Muriel Pontbriant passing. She was a wonderful, funny, and loving person. I had her as a teacher while I went to Holy Name. She always had great classes. Later on in life we re-connected and would have monthly lunches at my house. I did enjoy these times. Or we would go to Cracker Barrel in Sturbridge if we wanted to go out to eat. God Bless you Muriel. I will definitely miss you dearly. Until we meet again.

Muriel was one of my best friends all through High School. We continued our friendship through Facebook. Muriel's kindness, love, and caring plus her faith and love for God were her hallmarks. May she rest in peace. See you in Heaven, dear friend.

Simone and family - Larry and I are saddened to hear of Muriel's passing. She will always be remembered as a kind, loving and fun lady. Her upbeat nature brought smiles to everyone she knew. I know you will miss her terribly and I hope that you will always remember the fun times, laughter and smiles that made her a unique and wonderful lady.
