I met Alice at the Chester C. Corbin Library in the early 2000's. At the time I was a rookie over the road semi truck driver
and was seeking something entertaining to read during my stopped rest periods before going to sleep in the truck. Alice
was so kind and she introduced me to what else I could get at the library. WOW ! I can get books on tape at the library. I
had no idea, and from then on, every two weeks when I got back to Webster I would go see "My Alice". She helped find
entertaining books on tape to take around the country and pass the time of 600 miles a day of driving. It doesn't seem like much, but it was quite a blessing to me. Years later I learned "My Alice" lives two houses from me. I saw her backing
out of her garage from my back yard. I yelled and waived my arm vigorously, my dog helped and barked hello to her repeatedly. Jackpot! Alice saw us and gave us her joyful smile and waved back. From then on it was such a comfort to come home after weeks on the road and see "My Alice". Alice loved dogs, I loved Alice, and I know Alice loved me from the way she'd light up with a smile so powerful I could feel my heart filled with our mutual joy.

We met Alice at Brian & Sam’s pre -wedding celebration. Alice was always smiling , ever charming & gracious . She was engaged with all guests and family members and a good sport with all activities ,we met up again at the wedding where Alice danced with Brian on the dance floor , she had a wonderful time and was everyone’s darling .Early the next morning , Alice was out on the wooden pier ready for a boat road around the lake . Alice lived a life of love and spontaneity and will leave a legacy for all .We are rooting for you in the heavens Alice , with warm regards Joanne Leuschner
