Well as a very young nurse in 1975 I was fearful of my boss, Mrs. Monaco. However, she would make rounds on the floor and was very down to earth . She would ask how things were going as well as talk to patients about their care and intently listen to what they had to say ! She was the fixer of all problems . I so admired her honesty, integrity and fairness.She was one of a kind and would never be matched by anyone that followed her, I am so honored to have worked for her as she was a role model for all nurses then and for future nurses to set standards by ! My deepest sympathy to her wonderful family , Sally Terrill
